About Me
I grew up in Grimes, Iowa just outside of Des Moines where I attended Dallas Center – Grimes High School. This is where I discovered my love for using a camera. From working on the senior video filming football games on Friday nights. I loved it all and wanted to do more.
I began travelling with the football team making weekly videos in my free time. When basketball season rolled around, I did the same for them. Always on the road or at a computer editing. Each week was an opportunity for me to learn and I loved every second of it.
My first semester at college was spent at the University of Iowa where I majored in cinema and worked in the video department of the football program. This was my first look inside a college football program, and it provided me with priceless knowledge of how these programs really work.
The University of Iowa was not a great fit for me, so I decided to transfer to Iowa State University. I quickly was hired to work in the video department for the football program. This is where I have blossomed as a content creator. Iowa State has given me the opportunity to experiment and improve. From filming games from the sideline to creating custom videos for players to travelling to bowl games. Working for this football program has helped me develop into the creator I am today.
Now as a senior at Iowa State, I am finishing my undergrad in Fall of 2020 with a major in journalism and a minor in political science. After graduation I plan to attend law school starting in the fall of 2021.
